So Oregon has wins against 2 top 20 teams and Texas’ biggest win is against a Michigan team that can’t complete a forward pass and was totally overrated to begin the season. Bama jumped to #1 after beating Georgia but Oregon doesn’t get the same treatment after beating the fuckeyes. I’d put money on the dawgs taking down Texas next weekend.

I hear you on the Texas ranking and I agree. Only thing is that I watched Texas on Saturday as well and they do look damned good.

The QB swapping was in vein. Texas' O-line lost that game from the first quarter and changing out QB's wasn't going to make the difference. Early in the 4th quarter, the camera panned in on Arch and Quinn sitting together on the bench and they both looked like they had been hit by a truck.

So will the Ducks get the number 1 ranking or will SEC bias put Georgia at #1? Not at all surprised that Texas lost (I called it last week). Texas had beat Michigan and Oklahoma who were both massively overrated based on name and preseason rankings. And the Texas offense is garbage. Wasn’t overly impressed with either Bama or Tennessee. The Fuckeyes vs Ducks game has been by far the best game of the year between 2 teams with legit Defenses and Offenses. Indiana is legit, that coach will be at either Florida or Florida St next year. Watching the swamp rats vs UNLV right now and really missing PAC12 after dark. I’d much rather see the swamp rats vs the Cougs or CAL or the nerds than this. Hopefully the Ducks can get healthy, they’re really coming into themselves on both sides of the ball. The D is firing and with James pounding the ball and with WRs that can take the top off plus make the clutch catches has them looking really good. Should be favored in every game until the big 10 championship. I’ll be pumped to get a #1 ranking for first time in program history. I’m even coming around to Gabriel, come playoff he’# going to need to run the ball to keep opposing Ds honest but he’s throwing great deep balls which Nix just didn’t have last year.

Let's hope it's a bit longer than the ONE week. Who really gives a fuck until the end of the season. We'll see how ALL these teams that are clawing to be top 3-4 weather real opponents and injuries as we get near playoff time. Gabriel DOES NOT look/smell/feel the part of THE GUY. Hopefully the running game and defense can compensate for some of those misguided throws that seem to pop up.

To me the remainder of the regular season is when we find out just how good Lanning is. Five games that we should win by all accounts…will they execute? Nobody knows.

Totally agree. Keep giving the kicker opportunities to build confidence, we’re going to need him when it counts. The 2010 team lost a national championship because Chip was afraid to kick a FG. AND DWYER WAS DOWN!

I had a bunch of friends go to MAC schools and to a man/woman they all loved them some midweek maction. Said despite the small-ish crowds of (very drunk) students in the stands, the campuses were packed out with students treating it like a holiday every Tuesday/Wednesday when ESPN would roll into town - daydrinking and no class.
