so I went throwing for pond pigs at the local community pond - mud Marlins - whatever. missed a buncha shots, lined quite a few, and then finally connected....then broke it off on 4x 9'. I didn't think I was horsing it either...what size tippet do people normally use for hillbilly bonefish?
my neighbors fishing had both MAGA hats and what looked to be SS lightning bolt tattoos, so they was cool

A few fish friends from this week on the Snake.
Also skunked on the GV. Smoke must have had an effect. [emoji38]?
Biggest caught on a foam ant pattern @tgapp loaned me when we fished. [emoji869]

Went to go visit where we spread my dad's ashes. Last place I got to fish with him before the parkinsons got too bad. Just me and Walter doing a little boat training for Rocky. He's got some work to do on the sticks..he also woke me up at 5am like usual so we just went fishing in the dark, stuck a couple nice fish but with 2 dogs in the dark I didn't get fish pics. This lake is rad but people really suck. Oh well things change but nature is still cool.

It's a spinal deformity called lordosis. Deformity in the dorsal plane is lordosis. In the lateral plane its called scoliosis. In a healthy system, its probably a congenital mutation. In a hatchery setting, it's usually rough conditions. When trout are introduced to infertile alpine lakes, it's common due to a nutrient deficiency.
