    I've been using last years' Core 89 for a while, really like it. Very versatile ski for the dimensions, and light enough to be fun to climb and skin with, but enough guts to be fun on the down too. Just ordered a pr. of Core 89 Carbon. Agreed on their philosophy, nice to see they focus on backcountry ski gear, no down booties or hoodies.
    Sawatch is French for scratchy.

    Can’t say I have tried any of their skis, but the US company is great, excellent customer service.

    Mike Hagen sold it to Mike Hogan. Hagan Hagen Hogan, say that six times fast Customer service seems to be great on both the retail and wholesale level.
