I can get a basket of chicken tendies with fries for $7 at the summit house at Whitefish, which is cheap enough that I'll often opt for that over packing a sammy. Beers at the stube keep creeping up, but a 20oz PBR can still be had for around $4. TBD how much those prices have inched upwards this year.
Burger and fries at Whistler Blackcomb. In the village/valley would be $25 now after tax. Pint is $10 most places.
Most likely cheaper on mountain these days or very simialr, though quality is not there. Beers, tall cans of Corona likely to be $15 I would guess. no draft anywhere on mountain.
Friend bought a Chicken salad bowl thing on the weekend that was huge and $16. I think actually better value than buying food in the valley at the moment.
I am also very much a bring sandwich and drink at apres so not 100% sure on anything above.
Eggs, potatoes and bacon is under $10 w/ the passholder discount at A Basin.

As said in here already it’s like $9- 10 at 6th alley for a 20oz. I enjoy going in there sometimes and don’t really mind paying so whatever. Parking lot beers are great and all but sometimes I want a more of a comfortable environment, not a very tough guy tgr take there i know.
I get a slice of pizza from the cafe at the basin from time to time if I feel like I need to eat something, decent sized slice for like $6 with the pass discount. The basin does have a burger called the trust fund burger that is like $60 or something…
If you ever find yourself in Revelstoke, you'll find that people say the best burgers aren't found in town, but on the mountain.
At the top of the Revelation gondola is a small shack where I had what could be the very best burger in my life. I can't remember what it cost, but it sure as shit wasn't 20 bucks...

Wow - those are $6 at Whole Foods….

This is the normal price now everywhere in Canada that I've been to in the last year or so. $18.99-22-ish depending on what fancy mayo they put on it.
Revy burgers are $10 for a double. Probably $12 now with inflation. Beer wasn't out of line expensive but if you brought your own nobody would know or care.
A lot of old men yelling at clouds in this thread.
I approve.

1st time in Missoula on a Kayaking trip, 1988ish. Beer and a Burger for a buck at the Ox. That place must still be open.

Oh yeah, but no prices.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
"Happiest years of my life were earning < $8.00 and hour, collecting unemployment every spring and fall, no car, no debt and no responsibilities. 1984-1990 Park City UT"
They still advertised a $5.50 burger last time I was in there early-October. I usually splurge an extra dollar or two though to get a bacon on it.
But if it’s past midnight? Then only breakfast items for me. That place (+ the Dino) is always a must anytime I come back through town.
I’d be curious to know what The Ox charges for a bowl of Campbell’s soup…
I feel like the last time I was at the ox, they had begun a pseudo rebranding to try to appeal to the missoula hipster crowd.
That aside, I confirmed that the stube in whitefish is at $3 for a 20oz PBR with the semi-formal locals discount. The fucking fries are $9 though.
Surprised no one's disrupted this by starting an on-mountain food delivery service
Maybe make it members-only so you're not really purchasing the food, just "sharing it", in case the resort people infiltrate it
Hell why stop with the food, include beers and pot too
