Seeing Yamamoto for the first time was pretty cool. There was a reason I was greedily talking about Yamasoto all winter, I wanted both and that guy can pitch! Unbelievable and such easy movement, the ball just explodes out of his hand.

Teoscar is pretty likeable, I thought he was more of a curmudgeon when he was on the M's.

Hopefully Soto heals up and the Yanks can start doing goofy inflatable lawn ornament dances tomorrow!

    Fun night though.

Especially by the 8th, when it turned into a Yankee victory party.

Judge is enormous in real life.

Shit dude, I didn’t know you were out there, I’d have made arrangements for a mini summit… First time in Boston, it was epic.

Yeah we should of. I remember you mentioning it, but our dates didn’t quite match up. We ended up changing our plans a bit and I forgot you were going to be there.

Since May 31, coming off the IL, Steven Kwan is hitting bonkers numbers:

    .535 AVG
    1.298 OPS

On the season he's hitting .398 and is currently about 18 ABs shy of qualifying for the batting title, which he should earn those appearances in the coming weeks.

    Really cool to see.

As much as a bummer to see Willie Mays died, it was a “Holy shit, that dude was still alive!” thing for me. I have one of his baseball cards from when I was a kid.

^^^Well yeah, he’d been playing pro ball since 1948.

Anyway RIP to the best overall baseball player Evah and who approached the game full gas.
