Now that is what I call a good old fashioned ass kicking! Petco is going to be wild Tu/We. Hopefully I can find some tickets. Go Padres!

I guess if you’re going to lose, you may as well go out with a bang. What an embarrassing game all around. Someone needs to hypnotize Mookie and make him forget it’s October.

Until Betts starts swingin' it better, amazing to me that Ohtani isn't getting the Bonds treatment.

Was at the game, the grom has soccer right across the street from Citizens Bank Park, his game ended, grabbed resale tickets that dropped 15 min before first pitch, walked across the street still in his full goalie kit and saw a bonkers game. Bonus points for the boy getting on TV in the 9th and having my phone blow up with people I haven't heard from in years seeing him there, then he got a game used baseball from owner John Middleton throwing them out to the kids from the top.of the dugout after the game. What a day!

    How fun is that?!

Game 2 from Jacobs Field in a little over an hour and this fun read penned by All-Star Left Fielder Steven Quan pops up in my inbox. I'm fired up and hope this team makes one hell of a run this October!

    Right!?!

Insane pitchers duel, no question there.

The “strike zone” went anywhere from the ground to 4 feet above the batter’s waist as evidenced by the last at bats.

Alright boys, go get two in Detroit.

Dave Roberts trying to up the hype by claiming Machado threw a ball at him. Video shows a two hop toss to the ball boy. Pretty desperate.

Got my ticket for game 4!

Padres blasting emailing and social reminding us to "stay classy San Diego". Interesting there is a rule that if fans delay game by 15 min the visiting team can get a win. As the fans attempted to ice Darvish I thought there should be some kind of punishment.

Saw him pitch on one of my first visits to Yankee Stadium. We all used to imitate his move.

He definitely threw it harder than you usually see and it wasn’t to a ball boy, but Roberts is for sure overreacting. Or trying to use it to fire up the team. But if getting your ass kicked at home and pretty much humiliated doesn’t fire you up, that toss ain’t gonna do it.

Buehler definitely has the personality for a game like this, I just wish he had the same stuff he had a few years ago. Either way, it’s gonna be fun.

Dave Roberts just said “We are not waving the white flag, quite yet.”

    It’s the third fucking inning!

The list of guys who have come back from a 2nd Tommy John is short.
The list of guys who've come back from a 2nd TJ and been good again is even shorter.
Anyone expecting Ohtani to come back from his 2nd TJ, in his 30s, and be the same pitcher he was in his 20s, is probably gonna be disappointed.
More likely he'll be a back of the rotation guy, on a pitch count, who will never again be rested & fresh enough to match this year's offensive output.

Someone should remind the Guards that they are indeed allowed to score runs.

For fucks sake if they didn’t hear me yelling that from 900 miles away then I’m gonna fly up and scream it in person.

Fucking bats. Your team did everything to keep you in that game. FUCK.
