    That looks real nice Kam.

Not quite spring at mission this afternoon but the lower mountain softened up nicely.

Love this style of photo. Some scenery, untracked snow, double fall line terrain. It conveys fun. Only problem is, tracks were crossed

? The whole Bomber side was soft/softening by 10 from the yeti to midway. Adjacent backcountry was soft settled pow on north aspects.

I arrived @ 2pm, everything below bomber cliffs was nice and soft, but upper slopes and seemingly everything skiers right of chair 2 already starting to set up again.

Alpental isn't open today. Tomorrow, yes. I'll probably be up there on Friday too.

    I Crustalled today.

Got there late at about 9:15, snagged a first row B lot slot. Dumping hard in the morning, snow line just below F lot. Heavy pow down low, lots lighter up top. Not too crowded, but the snow got skied.
Left at 3, B lot had been parked out halfway.

The storm blew in from the South, so the North facing zones held decent snow like skiers right on Iceberg. There wasn't enough to fix the frontside or Exterminator, Northway stashes skied well but Hamburger held the best snow. It was a whiteout in the main Throne Bowl, so the edges of Hamburger had enough contrast to see.

The Throne traverse generated a few grunts crossing the debris tongues. But my skis are still too long and all I care about is how I look.

    Some shots from the Stupids:

With some wind and another couple of inches, it will be a good reset for tomorrow.

Anything N facing at Crystal was great today - especially in Northway and Hamburger as Buster said. Tomorrow might still be good - it was still snowing when went to the Elk at 3 and there’s a lot still untracked.

    Looks tasty!

Ripped groomers today at Stevens. Coverage is still very good but even the limited sun that broke through the clouds started to beat up the snow. Started getting a little sloppy around noon. Nobody there and still lots of fun to be had.

I cannot believe they close in less than three weeks. Feels too soon.

As this PNW corn cycle draws to a close, I ratted around Crustal. It was soft and devoid of people and I managed to link up for a few laps with mofros son. Just a nice day.

Same mantra: high North facing stuff was best, some melted chalk and some corn were the choice of the day. They've given up grooming Iceberg, at least today, and the bumps in there were huDge. Other bump fields skied OK.

Weird lenticulars above Silver Queen and on Mt. Rainier.

Hey y'all, looking for a wedding venue that's woodsy/mountain adjacent next fall. Room for 100-150ish people. We've got a list of the Google-able options but wondering if the WA mags have any suggestions that might be harder to find otherwise. Please send em my way!

I got married at the Seattle arboretum, very affordable but maybe a little small for your group.

Skied epic pow on the northern volcano Saturday and surprisingly corny snow (brief window) in the vicinity yesterday. Bring on the next storm.
