Sorry I missed a shout-out to another awesome magette.
But 20 years ago it was a meme here to show tits.
Or gtfo. We all laffed.
Ironically we never saw any tits until the ullr thread started.
Point being. In the padded room nothing should be sacred.
The nsfw thread is clearly misogynistic. I kind of wish it didn’t exist. But this forum has always been relatively unmoderated.
It took me a few years before I learned these are just words. Had a few epic flame wars back in the day. Blurred really roasted me. But I moved on. It’s just words.
The women here know how to deal with dumb and foolish boys.
Haa i think so

Ordering gear out of Skateboarder Magazine. via money order and waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive... Obsolete by the time I finally got it but still cooler than what the other kids bought at the hardware store. First skatepark was a fiberglass module set at the Minnesota State Fair. It moved to 3-4 other locations before finally ending up outside a shopping center in Eden Prairie..
I came across one of the shop decks they sold there about a year ago had to buy it..

PJ Vs was the first cd I ever bought. That statement alone makes me feel kinda old.
hah - don't feel too bad, mine was 'a momentary lapse of reason', followed up with the lz box set!
Good score! About the same vintage as my HH(head honcho) with kryptonics on gull wing trucks

I knew I was getting older when I felt that time was speeding up. I was 33 then. 48 now. One year is = 1/48th of my life. One year = 1/12th of my son's life. When he asks if we can go to Disneyland this year and I say, "Maybe next year." His jaw drops at the daunting emotions of having to wait a whole 1/12th of his life. To me, next year is like 3 months away.
I don't have one-year goals anymore. I have five-year goals. Retirement goals.
I can't believe I've lived in Japan for 20 years now. Longer than anywhere else in this world. MN, CA, MT, Chile, NZ, AK. All of that is a blur. It's like a different life ago.
Now when I open my car to put my coffee into the cup holder in the morning, I remind myself to move sparingly so I don't throw my back out like I did that one time. And fuck my eyes suck worse and worse each day. I'm considering laser surgery, but damn that terrifies me. What if it's worse and I end up unable to drive at night?

Saying the same thing over and over.
Oar is it repeating yorself?
First album i ever bought was double live Grand Funk Railroad.
Not counting numerous 45s.
Also inherited numerous albums from my older brother, sadly some which were stored too close to a radiator one winter.
watch out for snakes
I have a tape collection.
GET OFF MY LAWN
First "album" I bought with my own money was Rush Hemispheres. My older sis had been hooking me up with Zeppelin, Queen, Supertramp, Styx, etc leading up to that. Also bought cheesy 45s in elementary school. I still have most of the ones my sister bought me.. Not very good shape but massive sentimental value.

I'm not getting old, but everyone else seems to be.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
Man, personally I think skating later in life is most impressive. That can really hurt! I have one friend still skating, but he was/is local guru surfer, skater, og Burton team member. Hats off to you guys!
My older sister convinced me to go in halves buying Saturday Night Fever. That was my first album that i dont think i ever saw it after paying in. I was abused by three older sisters growing up. We do have a copy in our vinyl collection today.
My mom bought HAIR (1968), then Norman Greenbaum Spirit in the Sky (1969).
But most of my early rock exposure was due to my friends older brother's record collection including lots of Zappa (Freak Out, Uncle Meat, Hot Rats, Burnt Weenie Sandwich) as well as LZ I & II, Grand Funk Railroad, Aorta, Steve Millers Sailor, Children of the Future, Brave New World, Beatles Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Peppers, Quicksilver Messenger Service eponymous and Happy Trails.
The first album I bought with my own money was CSNY Deja Vu, followed by FZ Hot Rats, Burnt Weenie Sandwich, Kinks Arthur, GD Aoxomoxoa, Anthem of the Sun, Skull and Roses.
I still have about 900 vinyl record stashed and no turntable for the last 17 years.
And I'm glad of Meadowskipper and OG.
I still ski 200 cm skis. And fuck the lot4 knitting clique.
BTW, Meadowskipper rips.
