Is anyone familiar with this? It claims to be an inexpensive small, unobtrusive device that is solar powered, safe and removes [heavy] snow from vehicles in frigid temps.

It appears to be one of these too good to be true gadgets. I'm wondering whether it works and is a good product to have?

They say it’s the same technology that is used on the Mars Rover to keep it free of ice and snow, so I’m sold.

Granted, the fact that there’s no water on the surface of Mars may be a major factor here, but I’m sure this technology is playing it’s part.

and here I envisioned this contraption as being the solution to vehicles snowed in at the top of LCC. Oh well, I guess that we will all need to keep our avi shovels in our veh. at all times.
