Is that considered cheating? Have UCI and spouses weighed in?

I started an inexplicable bike products thread awhile ago - it's got a lot of stuff that'd fit in well here.

Yeah, I am confused. Enduro is a big bike, but this thing is supposed to have a >6' bed and it looks like there's not an inch to spare.

Unless Elon's lying about the size...which is not a crazy assumption.

When DH bros go ride a trail because it's rated double black or pro-line without doing any research on them, and disappointment ensues.

    https://www.trailforks.com/trails/green-lake-trail/

Did not enjoy, do not recommend.

The best way I can put it is that this is a wilderness hiking trail that just happens to be built outside of wilderness boundaries. It's legal to ride, but it is not mtn friendly.

I love a steep challenge, and I don't even mind portions of hike a bike. My favorite trails are Hiline and Hangover in Sedona or maybe flying monkey near Hurricane.

This is not one of those double blacks.
There are large, dog sized boulders scattered through the middle of the already steep trail. Especially on the steepest switchbacks. There are staircases that are spaced just wrong to attack with any speed. There is about 1 total mile of "fast" trail, and it is all strait and featureless. Other sections that look fun? Better hop off that bike unless you want to trample a mountain meadow/marsh. There is not 1 bermed, shaped, or fast corner. The most fun section of trail was the top 1/4 which was still highly technical and fairly slow.

None of the spacing is right, most of the gnarliest rocks don't have good lines. You can just tell this trail was completely built for hiking, and that's fine. I wish I would have left the bike on the rack and hiked it myself. If you're a borderline trials rider who also enjoys 2k hike a bike climbs, this might be for you.

At least this guy asked first lol. With the name Old Sierra Madre Jeep Trail you'd think it would be kinda obvious.

Can anyone confirm this is actually a double black/pro line? Don’t wanna drive all the way out if it’s not! Thanks!

batteries on bikes in an industry /time when they say "we're about the environment"
    tire inserts
    thru headset cable routing

    Wait what was the question?
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

    gmen.

Riding a trail I hadn't ridden before in the "9 drops" area. This area is littered with trails and braids. It's really confusing, but they all spit you out at Rt9. They're steep as hell and I'd consider them very difficult.
I'm poking my way down and hear someone coming (which is frequent because so many trails right next to each other)and I pull off where I could. This women comes screaming down and stops. I said my 1st time on trail and she says, 'oh want me to go?' Sure. I drop in a couple seconds after and she is out of sight instantly.
On the up I catch a guy and we start shooting the shit and we come up on that woman. We pass her and I mentioned something about her flying by me on the down.
We get to the top and I mentioned her to the guy I rode up with and he says she's probably on her 7th lap and rides here all the time.

    She rips!

One of the best Trundling zones in BC. Some big boys have been rolled from the top.

Finally found a use for the new food scrap bins the city now requires us to use. Perfect storage for the One-up bike rack.
