It was like Groundhog Day with more sun and low crowds. The 3 dozen or so instructors in training didn’t help by side slipping the chokes so it was a bit more icy than the last two days.

2 7/8" of base builder at Magic this morning. Lights flickered a couple of times but no loss. Heading to Flatton soon.

I can’t imagine it’s in. Probably can find some pockets up in the bowl to play in

    Edit: looks better than expected

It was covered TTB from what I could see from across the street this morning but I doubt it would be enjoyable to ski yet

Flatton did not suck this morning.

Lapped Ursa (1,400' vert) 11 times in 2 hours. Snow was groomed but as soon as a few skiers got on it, it became creamy and interesting. 4 ways down from the top.

    Skiing is fun.

Pulled an audible and went over for the 1-2:30 “late lunch” shift. Figured you were - or had been - there. Skiing was still very good, but heavy snow and light crowds will do that. Empty.

    Skiing is very fun…..
