I needed this! Hope everyone is getting some. Strangely quiet at OV. All the Jerry’s that are here were waiting at Granite while I skied right onto HW for like 4 laps straight!

^^^That's they way to do it. I'm missing today due to a birthday party this afternoon. Still excited for Sunday and Monday. Especially Monday. No crowds the day after a powder weekend are some of my favorite times.

Oddly Heavenly's reporting 0", but it looks like they got a nice refresh up there overnight. Gunbarrel 25 was scheduled for today - anybody do/see it? It was more fun when Glen and Kim were involved, but sadly that's been quite a few years now.
The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.

Really fun morning at OV this morning. BA was calling for 12-17" through Saturday night and instead Mother Nature delivered 16" overnight and it's still snowing. They had the usual delayed openings so went up top with Funitel and hit Shirley twice followed by Solitude twice. I then headed to check out Sibo and they had just opened it - two runs on Sibo Ridge were awesome. I followed that up with a Wa She Shu traverse into Headwall area, a Headwall into Cornice II area (outstanding face shots up top but not fun getting out in the chop) and then a final KT into Dog Ridge area (ok). 11 pow runs in total, totally got my late March pow fix, let's go.

PS: I took this in line for Funitel. Ski patrol did some good pow farming this morning:

Mt.Rose has a "spring break special" for a week, starting Monday.
Prolly only the local district, but just a heads up.

The Ghettos offered some excellent pow today except it went quickly due to full parking lots. But going from excellent spring corn to an great powder day was nice.

First 4 laps today at Palisades were probably the best I’ve had this season. Awesome day. Snow is coming down again hopefully a nice refresh for tomorrow morning.

The lower mountain skied lighter and speed than the upper mountain interestingly enough, most likely from wind loading I’m guessing

Got to Heavenly late. Killebrew canyon was interesting. It was like I expected. Adventure skiing at its finest.

Kirkwood was splendid today, 180 degrees from yesterday. Chair 6 by 10am, backside at 12:30 or something? We we over in Palisades, which was fantastic and a lazy low traverse track out there today was kinda nice. Finally got my ass down Once in Enough this year along with my kiddo's first time down it so that made his season LOL, good day. It was snowin and blowin when we left tomorrow should be good.

The difference between friday with some decent corn conditions and a little sunburn vs saturday was fun, both great days though! Hope the weather keeps up for all of you to get some turns in

It was another really solid morning @ OV with 10" overnight up top. The snow was much lighter, deeper. Broken Arrow was really awesome as our final hike/run of the morning, so deep in spots and not many folks doing the hike. Back to back powder days, been awhile!

Horrible liftline at 10:30am on a weekend pow day though (the entire line is pictured)

Can confirm Alpine was amazing and not that crowded for how great the conditions were. Ended the day with sunset at Rubicon which did not disappoint. Best run I skied all weekend.

We had 2-3" at the house in Kirkwood Meadows from 7:30PM Saturday till morning. KW reported 6" since Friday morning at 5AM. My kid needed a snorkel on a few turns on their first run. It skied pretty deep today. Shocking and super fun. Nice day to hit your flat landings.

Saturday was just damn fun...stayed on KT & Red Dog with Nose to Alternates being the best bang for our buck. Had to bail back to SF for a little league game Sunday morning and with some persistent field prep work on Treasure Island, we actually got to play the game!

Missed Saturday, but had a great day yesterday!!

Took a side country lap a broke a decent avalanche with a ski cut. Then witnessed another. Be careful out there.

Was this yesterday? Yesterday around noon - I hiked up Broken Arrow - I thought it was heavy and manky. So was lower half of Headwall. Best snow was North Face. Good day for late March.

Palisades was excellent yesterday morning. Skied much deeper than reported - At least knee deep off West Face and alternates. The while morning was great, got pretty cut up and snow got a little funky by the afternoon, but I’m not complaining. Definitely best pow weekend I’ve had this year.

Surprised High T and High Beaver not open. Or maybe I shouldn't be. Otherwise north and east now still good.
