I was supposed to be there this week, had to bail a couple weeks ago due to broken finger requiring immediate surgery and uncertain recovery (turns out powsurfing on more rocks than pow doesn't end well, who knew!). Found someone to take my spot fortunately, but now feeling kinda bad because sounds like conditions turned to shit right before they went up on Fri. At least I don't have too much FOMO... Pics I've seen so far look like at least good touring & views, not sure about snow conditions. Will get the report when the crew is back next week.

Shhh- the ski touring in the spray is really good suddenly. Lots of people skiing lots of things and lots of people having lots of fun! The snow is low but it’s quality and stable. Go get some!

Any KH locals have any recent beta? Is it as bad as I suspect it is?

I’ve been skiing the horse and slack for the last 4 days. The incremental new snow has helped. Ski quality is much better than it was a week ago but buried crust makes for tough skiing.

Buddy of mine literally on an airplane back from KH and Revy right now. Says "the bottom half of KH was really sketch again lots of bruises on teh base of my board! lol" and "Greely and North Bowl at Revy was sooooo good."
So perhaps change your AirBnB to something a little further up the road? I'm heading to Revy on Sunday.

I think if we pull the plug on golden we will likely swerve to somewhere farther away from this snow drought.
Ideas are being tossed around now.

How's SSV and Lake Louise looking? I was eyeballing a trip to Banff at the end of February, but the last update sounded like it's been pretty modest so far?

I skied sunshine and Louise this week.both doing well in the alpine. I'd still have no trouble recommending it.

Been at KH and revy last few days. Revy skied great yesterday - even end of day runs to the bottom were pretty fun. KH was better than expected and has some pretty good snow on top half, but you’re best hitting cat track to gondy and not wasting energy on those runs.
