50/50 on replacing blue chair, either way something is going into the north bowl.
makes you wonder what a 30+ year old lift sells for, vs a new one and what the estimated repair/maintenance costs are on new vs 30 years old.

Does anyone know of a shuttle service from Fernie to Kalispell, MT airport (FCA)?
There was one, but I'm unable to find anything
Good skiing out there last few weeks in Purcells and Rockies if you get above 6500ft. Hope everyone is having some fun.
Ive- got a few items in the Buy/sell that might interest local mags for pick up. Cheers

I’m not aware of any, but you could try calling Tunnel 49, they offer taxi and shuttle service.

Bike retreat shuttle.might be limited to summers only.
In my past summer shuttle research, I think there is an airport shuttle from Eureka. It might be called Cowboy Cab and Shuttle. This is from the FCA website.

Get a ride to the border and have them meet you?

Excellent day skiing at SSV. Good to see a good quantity of snow falling….finally….
Still lots of hazards but I’d consider it a quality pow day!
14 overnight at SSV
5 at LL
8 at Quay.
-19'C everywhere.
Might as well go ski before the deep freeze hits.
3cms and -25 at the hill up here in Jasper (-22 above mid mountain). I am going to pass on that one.
Hopefully someone got some turns in at Fernie over the last few days. Been looking mighty fine.
Quay big chair was excellent today. Showed up at 11. Very few tracks. Laid down a dozen runs and left very satisfied. Flurries on/off all day. Anyone hit Ssv? Looked good but was scared of the winds and windchill at a very windy ski hill….
I was at SSV. skied 9-11 on GE, 10+ laps, mostly pow, no winds, but temp dropped from -18 to -21 in 2 hours
Lake was skiing quite nicely today too. Typical Lake 5cm which meant closer to 15cm in spots on the back. Wasn't too cold to start, but did certainly get colder as the day went on. Time to hibernate for a few days now!
Marmot announced they will be closed Thursday&Friday. Smart move to do it early, easier to do on a weekday during ghe first week of the year.
SSV closed today
Quay for Thus and Fri
LL MIGHT open today.
Yikes, -20f in town! That arctic cold front is forecast to ride the rockies all the way to my house.
