possibly dumb driving route question: Calgary to Palm Springs…

Driving Calgary to Palm next weekend, returning the following weekend. All I-15. My preference is to use my all-season tires and not burn my snow tires. Will be crossing the border at Coutts , and I figure the worst potential altitude is Coutts to Great Falls. What are things like around SLC?

Looking for risk of big snow falls this time of year along that route.

Make sure to time drive to avoid the Vegas to SoCal Sunday traffic. And don't go North on Friday.
