10 pages of strawmen, 2 pages of entertainment, 1 page of relevant discussion. I'll be the first to skim the actual documents I guess. As I read it, 5.5 miles of existing bike trail were newly designated for e-bike use on the east side of 191. It also says one of the reclamation options is to turn closed motorize routes into non-motorized singletrack where it matches their plan. Implementation and enforcement will take place as funding and staff allows.

    Now back to politics:
The industry needs to pay for enforcement. Whichever new industry, in this case the obvious one being the companies that profit from SxS sales/rental and are putting a huge volume of new users on the landscape. It's the only way to avoid widespread closures and to differentiate good users from bad users.

Yes, if the road is designated. That was why I used the word highway. I have yet to see one flying down I-70....but you knew what I meant ;-)

What's ya'lls opinion on OneWheels on traditionally non-motorized singletrack?

One wheel doesn't have a throttle any more than a class 1 ebike doesn't have a throttle.

This is just a huge problem in general in America. Good luck getting legislators to add responsibility for after sales issues to the manufacturer.

    How do you figure?

I think they could really help my climbing... thinking about ordering one for my local crags!

There's nothing you twist or press on a one wheel to make it go faster. Speed is controlled by moving your feet and your weight. Kinda like a class 1 ebike.

Bro...it like total doesn't fit the narrative. It's not even a bike. The only thing remotely close to a class 1 e bike is a regular bike. Don't you see?

Or maybe it's just BS? I think the parameters for acceptability is "because I fucking got one!" and haters only hate because they don't.

Seems onewheel has resolved this question with a total product recall…

Me too. I partook in various forms of motorized and non-motorized recreation including motorcycles, SxSs, MTBing, and even 4 wheeling in my turn-of-the-century SUV. Not one time was I ridiculed, ashamed, or persecuted. Maybe it was because I didn't bring my E-bike. Oh well, next time.
