    Bluebird Backcountry Auction

    https://www.rollerauction.com/auctio...rd-backcountry

Everything you need to start your own backcountry ski resort!

In all seriousness - some good stuff - boots, beacons, rental gear, shop equipment, geodesic dome tents, wood stoves, solo stoves, propane heaters. You name it.

WHOA! Anyone planning to buy something and willing to pick up things for others and ship? I'd gladly pay a fee to make it worth your while.

Crazy liquidation. And all the stuff is right in Denver. Will be interesting to see where the prices go from here as stuff is super cheap right now but there's plenty of auction time left

Will this be like eBay where in 5 days, 16 hours, everyone will be trying to outbid and be the last bidder at the buzzer?

Past experience with Roller Auction - hit or miss. There can be a ton of stuff to wade through, so there are definitely items that just "sit" at the early bid price.

Not in a position to help coordinate a lot of transport at the moment but hopefully there are other mags in Denver who may be able to help.

Trying to get the word out since they owe $ to a bunch of companies who were trying to help get them going, including my buddy's solar installation outfit, AIARE, and more.

I’m hoping to pick up a few items so can help with pickup and redelivery. Back and forth between Denver and Steamboat so happy to drop along the way as well. Just shoot me a PM.

    Bluebird Backcountry Auction

Prices for some many things still seem reasonable.

What were those geodesic dome tents like? I have never been in one.

Not really seeing any can't miss deals. Good for the sellers, I guess, if people are really paying those prices for things like used rental ski gear.

Hilarious what some of that old crap is getting bid up to. They had a cheap ass plug in griddle for making pancakes and some jokers had bid it up to like forty bucks. They're like $25 new at Kohl's.

Can't believe someone bid $330 for two rocky talkies when the retail on them is $110.

I would love to have one of those wooden ski stands in my yard. I'll think that I will make one.

A bunch of items went off the rails quick. The used rocky talkies going for twice retail is a head scratcher

wow... priced like a charity auction?? Only good deal I could find at this point was $600 for 7 or 8 pairs of splitboard bindings.

Always wondered if Roller uses bid bots. The price some things sell for at their “auctions” is astronomical. Seems like the case with this auction as well.

I would not be surprised if there was manipulation of some kind going on. Who buys used stuff with no warranty and no returns at those prices AND has to go through the trouble of picking it up yourself in person?

The vinyl Bluebird banner went for $155. Who in their right mind would pay that for that?

Perhaps people were treating it like a charity auction and bidding stuff up to try to help out the former owners

It seems like these prices are in line with most of their auctions though.

Can people get a way with just bidding like crazy then not showing up or paying for it?
    Never heard of that website.

Super wierd. This snow shovel is available for 55 bucks, new - shipped to your door for free. https://www.homedepot.com/p/True-Tem...5300/202055660

Used one sold for 65. Makes no sense.

Don’t forget the additional 4% tacked on once someone wins.
