Mixed feeling about RR. Great guitarist and song writer but some of his maneuvers regarding writing credits and royalties seemed a little shitty. RIP RR.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Aw man. In a past life I was in a pretty bad spot and I found, thanks to this place, The Last Waltz. Sure I've heard the music before, but for some reason I had never seen the movie or gave it any more than a passing appreciation.

    Thanks for the tunes RR.
I still call it The Jake.

    Ouch. What a great guitarist.

And a good dude irl otherwise how did he get the all star cast for the last waltz? Yeah. Fucked some people over. But made great music

Bmills you MUST watch the last waltz
All star lineup. And Robby is high as fuck on something. But playing his ass off. I wore out the album. But until I watched the movie I had no idea.

Bummer. Unbelievable song writer. The old fuck in me doesn't see anything coming in the current generation like the RR era.

RE: Last Waltz. The best live concert film period closely followed by Stop Making Sense.

I loved the entire idea of," yeah we are at the top of our game and kind of need a break, so check this out".

And then there is the disclaimer in the opening credits: THIS FILM SHOULD BE PLAYED LOUD.

The amount of cocaine backstage at The Last Waltz was legendary.

To Kingdom Come… amazing body of work. No question about being on the “Deserted Island” list.

    Nice stroll down memory lane.
