Disorderly Conduct, as chair guy was charged, is a misdemeanor in AL. I’m sure he’s out on bail for this, and my guess under the circumstances is he gets a deferred sentence.

It sounds like the riverboat crew isn’t getting charged at all.

I’ll be interested to see what happens to the Selma Pontoon Crew. Six months jail? Plus community service, alcohol counseling, anger management counseling. Plus boat seized and transferred to City of Montgomery.

And then come the civil suits…

Interesting that it says the cops talked the boat captain into not pressing charges against the Pontoon Boys back then. They should revisit that decision and pile on more charges.
