    WASATCH KICKBALL LEAGUE (Park City)

Anyone interested in joining (and committing) to play kickball in Park City this fall? I was thinking that it would be one of the fun things to do to get into ski shape. The town has put together an adult league and is looking for participants. Sign ups go through Aug. 14...or so. Maybe, we can get a local sponsor us in the maggot shirts of our choice. Now that TGR has a store in P.C., maybe we can get them to spancer?

    Just throwing it out there.

    BUMP...because it's going to be a blast
    e-mail from Rec.:
There are a maximum of 10 players on the field, and a minimum of 6. A kicking lineup may have up to 14 players. It is like baseball with a shortstop if you have those 10 players out on the field.
These are coed leagues so we have gender requirements - a minimum of 2 players of each gender must be always on the field. Teams may play with more of one gender than the other provided the difference does not exceed 2. Example: with 3 women, the maximum number of men permitted would be 5.

We will have a manager meeting before league play starts, so we can go over the rules and teams can ask questions. That meeting is tbd, but I will send out the email before the end of the week with the date/time.

Kickball plays Wednesday nights from 6-10pm, no double headers. Depending on registration we might end up combining rec and comp teams into one league.

The first night of play will start Wednesday, August 23rd and continue for 8 weeks (regular season) and then tournament play will follow that with some games on Mondays and Wednesdays to beat the weather.

    Hopefully that answers your questions!
