Maybe they can pull a rabbit out of a hat and absorb MWC and maintain PAC12 name/brand and eventually become a power 5 type conference . The poor Beavers just when they look to be turning the corner with a remodeled stadium and a decent season to build on..... I see a lot kids that'll be in the transfer portal after the season to go Power 4(5). They didn't pick a WAC /MWC team when they showed up on campus.

That’s certainly a theory of a potential outcome. Seems Pac12 would be the winner of name recognition of the three. A gutted Pac12 full of WAC/ Mountain West teams still seems pretty sad.

In 2001 the Ducks should’ve played Miami for the championship. As they proved by demolishing Colorado in the fiesta bowl. Nebraska definitely shouldn’t have played Miami.

I remember when the Ducks were playing Auburn, and later Ohio State, in the Natty and I asked some friends who are Beavs fans who they were rooting for and they said Auburn/Ohio State. Just shook my head...really? You are that "jilted" that you can't bring yourself to root for the Ducks just that one time even?

I'm sure Hood26 was rooting for PSU and roots for UW, USC, UCLA, etc. etc. when they're playing against the Ducks too.

Whereas Ducks fans see UC Davis playing the Beavs and root for the Beavs or at least don't root against them. When the Beavs play UW I would never root for the Fuskies, etc.

Life long Duck fan. I root for the Beavs when they aren’t playing the Ducks. The Fuskies however can go to fucking hell with their purple and gold monstrosity off unis (been noticing that they’re tinting the purple more blue each year). Loved the year they went 0-12. I root for pretty much any pac12 team except the fuskies and the university of spoiled children when not playing the Ducks. Gutted that the league is done as I could give zero fucks about any team from the Midwest, just hoping to beat them.

Apparently Lanning was screaming at him to take a knee so they could keep the ball and run the clock down, but Bassa knew there were thousands of schleps like me depending on those points. Although, there was a 5 year period when knew a couple awesome people play for USC that for the first time in my life I was wanting success for their defense at least.
