Damn. What’s game. I could have gone without that last ducks drive, but that’s the story of this husky season.

Only thing that matters is owning the line of scrimmage. Congrats to Husky nation and good luck moving forward.

So can UW hang with Michigan or Georgia? And hopefully beat them?

I don’t think so. But, we’re definitely going to find out.

I don’t think they have the size in the trenches, but you never know. They certainly have some weapons, but I don’t think that defense can get stops.

At this point, they’ll probably win their next game by three, too. Doesn’t matter who they play. That’s what they do.

Been a UW fan for 40 years. Damn this feels good! Make no mistake, I was scared both games against the ducks. Great to know for certain that the dawgs are the better team. Stirs emotions from the Purple Haze days! Fingers crossed for a spot in the CFP…

Good job by the replay booth last night. Both teams left it all on the field... and a couple bad calls on the field got corrected before the damage was done. The better team won. WA controlled the line and had a better running game. OR had some big plays by very talented receivers, but Dawgs had a better all around game.. controlled both offensive and defensive lines better than OR did.

But what do you call it when 26 of your players are 5th and 6th year players?

I don’t have much hope that Louisville will beat FSU next week, especially after the demoralizing loss to KY. FSU has a pretty good team overall, and should be good enough to walk over Louisville, even with their backup QB.
Still no official word on FSU QB2 or QB3.. Rodemaker plays unless he's not medically cleared to.. And if he weren't we'd probably know that by now..

BYU??? Utah too to some degree when everyone does a 2 year mission before starting college.. More mature physically and mentally.

If there are not four undefeated P5 teams tomorrow morning it boils down to this..
    1) Conference Champion?
    2) Head to head results for one loss teams
    3) Eye test.. who looked best today of all the remaining one loss teams.

    Sorry tOSUck..

Can we stop this nonsense? Average age of BYU this past year was lower than Alabama. If serving missions was beneficial to playing football, every coach would be having players do something like it. Maybe BYU would be good? Only around half of BYU players serve missions and the number of return missionaries who make an impact in the NFL is miniscule. Being married and having a kid while in college helps you realize that football may not be that important after all.

Every team is old right now as kids are taking advantage of Covid years to make the NIL money before moving on to uncertain NFL careers.

Lanning’s wild eyed theatrics hurt the team. No surprise they get down early in the game. A cool discipline would be better served. The southernication of the Ducks is kind of annoying too. But, that’s what it takes to win.

    UW qb is real deal.

You said HALF of them wait to start college until 2 years after high school. DIGAF about Alabama.. Half of the BYU team players start (and finish) two years older than 95% of the other schools. The comment I was responding to was about older players. They are, in fact older players compared to 95% of the other FBS programs. Does it give them an advantage? I believe it does, you believe otherwise. The downside is that the BEST of the BEST wsnt to be paid NOW, not going door to door annoying the rest of us for free. This is not "nonsense". These are the facts.

Do you think spending 2 years in Peru away from any training is helpful? They may be older, but results speak for themselves, and that team always sucks.

No, it is in fact nonsense. Many never play again after missions and few are as good as they were before. Being older is no advantage to BYU (or any other schools with returned missionaries). If they were getting football experience in those 2 years, then it would be beneficial. Most end up losing significant weight/muscle. One of my friends was an LB, 6'4"and and 250# before he left. He came home at 200# and never got back above 225# once he was back. Being older, weaker and less committed to football never helped a team.

Well the Fuskies have to be in. They have the most wins against rated teams, are undefeated and conference champs. Michigan is in, no way they lose to Iowa unless the over under in under 20. Texas beat Bama bad on the road and is conference champ. So they should be in ahead of Bama. Leaves Bama, Georgia and possibly an undefeated FSU. I’d love to see the SEC left out.

Texas beat Bama who Beat Georgia. But ESPN and Committee are SEC homers so it's 50/50 Texas or Bama.. Unless FSU or Michigan lose.. If either of them lose BOTH TX and AL are in..

I'm really just hoping this chaos shakes out in the Sooners getting bumped up to a NYD 6 Bowl bid. I have Hurricanes vs Canadians tickets the same night as The Alamo Bowl..

It may be nonsense that they are better but it certainly is not nonsense that they are definitely older on average. The claim is that they are older, not necessarily better.

It was this conversation.. Not so much claiming better, claiming older..
