this is where i first heard laswell.
the album turned me on to drummer ronald shannon jackson, guitarist sonny sharrock, many others.
saw him play with both - and the recently passed sax titan peter brotzmann - as LAST EXIT, possibly the heaviest band to emerge from the jazz universe.
