    I was seeing if there were deals on 105 groupset and found these knock off groups. I didn't even know they existed!

    You'll need to buy or make torque arms for front axle (unless fork is steel), and a rear hub motor kit is around $350 (torque arm also recommended for alum or carbon frame). Run two controllers and batteries, or a single high amp controller and big battery. Totally doable.

    Or just buy a complete 2WD from Rambo ebikes. DIY is cheaper and you'll get a better build though, just a lot of work.

    if you want a blow-your-hair-back, chain-breaking beast, get a CYC X1 Pro mid-drive kit and a battery that can handle 3,000 or 5,000 watts.
