    Quebec City in July

We are heading to Quebec City for a few days at the end of the month. Looking for advice on restaurants, beer, swimming, activities etc. I have a 7 and 9 yo daughters coming. What should I do. Thanks

Head to Ballee Bras-du-Nord for mountain biking, hiking, and rafting. Lots of options including kid friendly trails.

If it's real hot, Baie De Beauport has a beach on the river. It can be crowded though. Parking is about $5 and adults pay another buck or so.

The kids will enjoy eating at Le Chic Shack.

Whale watching tour on the Saint Lawrence.

There is a few kayak whale watching operators just north of Quebec City and its pretty awesome! Something like 9 different kinds of whales live in the seaway. No experience needed highly recommend!

I was just there with my 7 and 9 year old girls! There are lots of outdoor cafes, street entertainers and outdoor art. We wandered a bunch finding geocahces in the City. Montmarte Falls is cool and there's a nice river trail up top heading away from the St. Lawrence. The kids were too light to zipline so they were bummed out about that as you need to be 90 lbs. There's a couple of zip line/ropes course/via ferrata in the area that cater to younger kids, but we ran out of time.
If you have a rainy day, Mega Parc is pretty fun for an indoor amusement park and the food court has some pretty good options!

Sweet, keep the suggestions coming. How bad was the smoke from the fires? Whenever I hear about kayak whale watching, I always think about the video of the kayakers getting swallowed by the whale. Any must try restaurants, we are bringing grandma so wife and I might be able to sneak away if fancy. Or non fancy good food for whole fam. Any other nice swim spots? Thanks
