I'm guilty as charged but reading about these people, they actually don't seem like shitty billionares at all like everyone here claims. One is the pilot who def deserved what he got, but another is a Titanic researcher/expert, a record holder pilot? (I can't remember) etc. It is sad but also a totally unnecessary trip on their part. Makes me think that people who don't ski think the same of skiers dying in avalanches on high danger days. We are all hypocrites.

The industry has self-imposed strict rules from what I read - but the pilot/owner didn't care to follow some of them.
