Looks like it’s Harman’s to lose. Some lower scores this morning with the overnight rain. Fleetwood and Straka need to go low and if Harman plays defensive…….

There's still two full days of golf left. 5 shots isn't much over 2 rounds. I'm pulling for Fleetwood - he's always in the mix and seems due.

I’m a lefty and Harman and I share the same alma mater. I’ve cheered for him for years, but damn this standing over the ball and looking at the ball, target, ball, target, etc. thingy, wow. Hard to watch.

Story out currently is that Phil has wagered over $1B over the years, and has lost $100M. Might explain why he was such a willing participant in the LIV Golf cash grab.

Played Oak Hill East two weeks ago. Two words ...

    No

    Thanks

Such a bitch. Greens were so f'ing true though. Ball went exactly where you put it, which is to say not in the hole.

We did have a fun little side wager going though. We played blues at 6655 yards. Stupid. For the par 5, 13th though, we played from the tips at 625. Rule was you could tee the ball for every shot no matter and if you got a par, everyone owed you $20. Only one of us scared it and even then it wasn't that close. I'm pretty sure I would give up the game if I played there on the regular.

Back to Phil real quick, him calling in a wager to his betting buddy while the Ryder Cup that he's playing in is going on is a total D move.

The Ryder Cup was the eye opening one.

edit: I guess the other one is placing 43 bets on MLB on a day with only 16 games.

The fact that it was his fucking bookie that told him he would not take that bet is pretty funny.

Rory with the zinger at Phil's expense!

Following his opening round at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, a reporter asked Rory McIlroy to share his thoughts on Billy Walters’ excerpt, which detailed Phil Mickelson’s gambling habits over the past three decades.

“At least he can bet on the Ryder Cup this year because he won’t be a part of it,” McIlroy snipped.

US off to a great start in the Ryder Cup….not. Lost 4-0 in the morning rounds. Up in two tied in one, will lose one in the afternoon session.

For being loyal to the tour that made him incredibly wealthy? Doesn't seem that cunty to me. And Phil has been talking all kinds of shit about Rory so nothing wrong with the occasional snipe in return.

His “outrage” seems a little over the top to me. Interesting how quick the pga was able to get bigger purses, no cut events, etc

And it wasn't sustainable for them... hence them giving in and allowing the Saudi's to partner.

ZJ was a bad pick as captain. He used his picks on fratty tour brahs instead of picking up Bryson DeChambeau who might be the hottest player in golf right now. Grinding the LIV axe even after the merger. JT didn’t earn his spot. Keegan Bradley got fucked getting passed up. Disaster for the ‘Mericans.

Yeah, I was kinda waiting for the post mortem.

Bro-buds team didn’t work, much as I like the guys. Keegan was a total diss.

Rory getting so heated at LaCava that he got pushed into a car by Lowery is definitely worth discussing. Sergio should’ve been there for that.

I would have taken Bryson over Fowler for sure and maybe DJ over JT. Although JT is a leader for that team and it makes sense pairing him with Spieth so I kind of get it.
