[I've had this listed locally for a week with no interest, so it looks like I should find a box for shipping.]
Bike park season is upon us, and I’m letting my park bike go. 2017 (Gen2) Canfield Balance. It’s a size XL, but with a 475mm reach, it really fits like a modern Large. The geometry chart and more can be found at https://canfieldbikes.com/pages/2016-2017-balance. Note that with the 180mm fork, the head angle is more like 64 degrees, and if you want it slacker, you can re-install the Cane Creek Angleset that I removed (included in sale). Specs:
Fork: X-Fusion Metric 36 with well-regarded Roughcut HLR damper and 20mm TA (you read that right), set at 180mm travel
Shock: DVO Jade coil with 500# spring (perfect for my 200# dad bod) gives 165mm rear travel
Brakes: Magura MT-7 with the premium HC3 levers
Wheels: Spank Oozy Trail 295 rims laced to Hadley hubs. Front 20x110, rear 12x142
Tires: Vittoria Mazza 27.5x2.6 front and WTB Trail Boss 27.5x2.4 rear. Both have Vittoria Air-liners installed
Seatpost: BrandX Ascend 200mm dropper
Drivetrain: Canfield AM/DH 165mm cranks w/ 26t ring, Shimano Zee shifter, SLX med. cage derailleur and SRAM 11-42 10-speed cassette
Cockpit: DMR Defy 50mm stem, Spank Spoon 780 riser bar and Renthal kevlar grips. I'm keeping the pictured Titec saddle but can include a Selle Italia Flite Alpes Ti.
I’m asking $1800 but am happy to hear from the price police if that's not reasonable. Buyer pays shipping from zip 87544, or you can pick it up in Los Alamos or Salida. Will include a 28t chainring, spare brake caliper and partial Canfield sticker set.
