As always, holler with Q's! Lots of QC and shipping to do in the coming weeks
My target is to have all preorders shipped by the end of August
I replied to the update email you sent out. Perhaps it ended up in your junk folder. If you'd prefer, I can Pm you on here

sorry! Just got a little behind on email. I’ll email you back, of course, and cross post the mount stuff here anyhow, as lots of folks with q’s that are similar!

Punchline is that I think an 80.5cm mount position from tail (-12) will be $$$ for you (and many folks) as a directional ski enthusiast (Monsters, LP, Goliath). I am a good bit taller and heavier than you, and really enjoy 80cm from tail (-12.5). but I think that in this region is the ideal zone for folks.

I’m pissed. Because now I need an R99, an FL105, and an FL113 to compliment my Renegade and sell my M102.

Heritage Lab. All about building quiver skis as opposed to do-it-all skis.

That said— this FL105 looks to be the most versatile ski on the planet.
We think along similar lines, Gaijin. I’m at Craigieburn at the moment, and can’t help but think that FL105 and R99s would both go like a dream here.

FL105's arrived and are incredibly beautiful. I don't write as eloquently as the rest of you but these look like they will ride quite similar to the Cochise/Bodacious. I can't wait to get them on the snow!

    Thanks again Marshal

Chasing My Dream Daily Driver - The Heritage Lab FL105

Hey Marshall, did you ever press any C105 with FL layups? (Or I guess FL105s with subtle reverse profiles?)

Couldn’t resist getting C105s out on the WROD for a couple days and A) they’re fucking sick, strong work heritage labs, B) they’re way more capable on cut up groomers and chunder bumps than I would have expected given the weight, the shape&profile is so dialed. But given point B, easy to dream about an FL layup for regular inbounds duty… I know I’m just reinventing the flipcore Cochise but curious whether you were ever tempted to stick with RC when designing the FL105

    Right!
Plum Oazo 8’s with freeride spacers, blue toe and orange heel (to go with the graphic[emoji6]), La Sportiva Skorpius, pomoca pinks, probably going just forward of the recommended 77.3cm from the tail as i have a 287 bsl. Maybe 78 even?

Intended for daily driver touring, midwinter traverses and travel. I’m pretty psyched to have something this weight and size, I think i’ll put some decent miles on them.

One pair that I know of.. [emoji846]

We discussed it while designing them, so Marshal pressed up a pair and asked me if I wanted to A/B them. Fwiw, I really enjoyed the carbon 113s in refreeze/corn conditions.

Thanks! I'm living a bit vicariously through you guys, since I don't have c105s. The sweet spot on the c105s should be pretty large given their profile, so your mount sounds good on paper! [emoji846]

    Cheers,
    Arild

Thursday laps on FL105 -> so good!

They may be my favorite “grab a ski and go skiing no matter what” setup ever.
