Worked from 5:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., skied 2:30-3:45, back for a 4:30 conference call with BIG glass of (indifferent but not awful) Coppola Zin in hand. Another three hours of a client's budget work ahead, so let's hope I don't pour another one too quickly!
I can't understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I'm frightened of the old ones.

Got a sixer each of Victory Brewery Golden Monkey and Weyerbacher Winter Ale. 2 down, 10 to go!
I think that the human mind is unique among all other forms of life in that it can spontaneously create unique thoughts and provide unique behaviors. Instead of rewarding that uniqueness we, for some reason probably because of cultural and social necessity, we chastise unique behavior and reward conformity.

Went to the local liquor mart (only source of decent beer) and picked up a six of New Belgium Abbey Ale and a six of Odell Cutthroat Porter. Going to give them both a shot, have no idea about either.

I hate all other New Belgium beers, but the Abbey and Trippel kick ass. Sipping my last one from the fridge right now. Mmmmmm.

On another note, this bourbon is tearing me apart. Damn! I can feel my liver disintegrating as I sip the shit. Gotta love 110 proof.

I gotta say, the New Belgium Abbey and Odell Cutthroat Porter have been treating me right. I've come to realize that Porter may be the bestest of them all. Had Otter Creek Stovepipe Porter the other week, also highly recommended.

Enough intraweb nerdage, time to get back at it.
