People should learn endurance; they should learn to endure the discomforts of heat and cold, hunger and thirst; they should learn to be patient when receiving abuse and scorn; for it is the practice of endurance that quenches the fire of worldly passions which is burning up their bodies.

Important friday topic (more so than kanye west)

Today is 'red nalgene day.' The Red nalgene currently full of Old Milwaukee.

Juice on the job is a highly underrated activity.

It might happen, but 5:15 would be a bit early for me to get there.

that shit is bananas. Here in Canada last year all the major breweries went on strike, and to keep up with demand, liquor stores imported flats upon flats of PBR and Milwaukee. After the strike ended that shit went on sale for, get this, $15 canadian for a flat.

even after a dozen or so it still tastes bad.

but it gets the job done.

    Denver mutts,

Just got a call from the boys at Highland Pacific. They are stoked to have us this evening.

Mussels and french fries special and Happy Hour prices all night!

Why don't you ever do anything at some place like Rasta Pasta? Or mebbe meet halfway like at Little Bear?

    Get high!

Um, I had a Colorado Bulldog last night. Forgot how tasty they are - might have to make that the Loveland drink this year.

You were robbed. Old Milwaukee costs $8.99 a case here. (Assuming a "flat" is 24 12oz bottles)

    MiRa,

We'd love to plan stuff up in Fraser/WP, and we usually stop by Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs after the avy classes.

Once we have more hands on deck helping out, we can certainly try to put something together at the Little Bear. Or anywhere you can think of. Even (gasp?) Summit County! Make some calls, set up some dates and we'll bring the circus.

No love for Kermits? They actually do have good Chili Verde, and the funniest Matchbook covers that side of the Pecos...

Kermit's is a hoot. That mine over there freaks me out though. Looks like an alien invasion at night.

Hands on deck? Helping out? You need help? Can I get a hoodie if'n I help? A girl at Loveland had one yesterday and I was really jealous. Fortunately I had on a BP t-shirt from years back. Heh.

Seriously, maybe Halsted would be willing to do one of his intro talks at Loveland?

Tommyknockers is cool. I have a friend that works there. There's private space at the Ram in Georgetown. Loveland patrol used to hang out there a lot and talk is like that could start again. Also very cool is Grumpy's garage bar in Plume. Very, very cool.
