Thought I’d scored a decent deal on a bag backpack.
But seller kindly said battery wasn’t holding a charge and Pieps wasn’t selling any replacements
How common is this?
Are any brands better than others?
This seems kinda easy. Never went air canister due to hassles of travel and refill. Battery is a no brainer since you can test and reuse and rinse and repeat. But if your $1k bag is useless after a few years, that’s crazy.
I guess it might be a liability thing?
I’ll check a box or sign a waiver. But I’m not buying anything that expensive that becomes useless.
You may have better luck if you act like the bag has always been yours and ask them to warranty the battery. They replaced mine (which I'd bought second-hand here) without issue.
