I am having some success!! I had originally used the generic dish soap I had at the sink and it did nothing.
I picked up some Dawn Ultra, dripped it on the stains (without using water) and worked it in with a toothbrush. Let it sit for a few hours and rinsed….the stain has definitely faded! Will give it another Dawn treatment and I’ll be good to go. I can’t believe the Dawn is outperforming Simple Green.

    Fatherhood has ruined you.
Ya I’m a bit ashamed to be so vain.
I wore black forever…switching to red was definitely a manifestation of the fatherhood/midlife crisis thing.

I paid for 1 arc shell on proform in 1996 and haven't paid a dime for each one since. I have an estimated 3 to 4 years left on my current one.

That's indeed a huge advantage which indeed I never considered so far.

good luck getting any kind of service from them these days. It's like you don't exist if your purchase pre-dates the pandemic.

Not in my experience, so far. I have a 12yr old Alpha SV jacket that I put in the wash yesterday. Hem and cuff seams delamed in the wash cycle. I emailed them pics via the website. They pretty much emailed me back immediately with a case number and told me to mail it back for inspection. It's already on its way back for assessment this afternoon. It even has a 3rd party patch that they called out in the photos I sent (tear from a tree a few years ago that I had professionally done) and mentioned it shouldn't be a big deal since it has no effect on the issue I contacted them about.

Not sure what will come of it, but I assume at a minimum it will come back fixed or I will get some sort of credit towards something new. They gave me a 2-4 week time frame from once they receive it.

Hey, glad that worked. Gotta say, I'm a little surprised about the simple green as well.

They use the Dawn for the bird washing when an oil spill happens on water or along a beach. But this is supposedly Grease and not oil. The generic dish soap not as effective from the sounds of things for sure. Then again Nascar uses Tide to clean up the oil and gasoline spills on the race tracks after a crash also.
