With a bit of research, I learned that Active Sports / The-House.com has been owned by Camping World (large chain of RV stores) since 2017, and Camping World just announced that after "a review of underperforming assets" they are shutting it down. While disappointing, that explains the liquidation sale and gives me more confidence they won't just disappear with unshipped orders remaining.

BTW I bought a bunch of stuff in December: most of it shipped promptly, a few items were refunded due to inventory errors, and a bike that was backordered still hasn't shipped.

The Fischer Attack 11's for $90 prior to discount seems like a pretty good deal if you need binders for a beginner/intermediate ... and pick up brakes in the size needed later.

Might be some scores in the boot department.

I "chatted" with them today, and was basically blown off, they pointed to the language about delayed shipping and said "we know nothing, you will get a shipping notification when it ships", even though I said I know numerous people who got their stuff shipped much faster. Since I mentioned something about knowing others who get stuff shipped, the agent asked if there was thread discussing the deal and could I link it if so. I didn't see what good could come of that so I just closed the chat window once it was obvious I wasn't getting an answer.

FWIW, in the same boat Danno. Ordered a handful of items on the 6th - mostly bike parts, and a shirt. Shirt shipped and received. Bike parts yet to ship.

Im kind of assuming at this point that the stuff that hasnt shown up likely isnt going to show up. Its the stuff that was too good to be true and was probably oversold.

I bought some very basic stuff -- 2 simple ski bags, a scraper, a multitool, and a beanie -- and my order is still processing. None of that stuff seems "too good to be true".

I've received 4 of my 6 items. They came in 2 separate boxes so far, so it will be at least 3 shipments for 2pr of sunglasses, 2 brake rotors, and 2 pair of bike gloves, all of which would easily fit into one of the boxes they've sent so far. No wonder they are going out of business.
