Screw you man. Despite plenty of days this year, my deep days have been way too few and far between. Screw you. I'm having powder withdrawl. it's been so scarce that the leftover 4" inches here and there yesterday were even exciting.
Ha. Sorry to disappoint but no this is not actually me, just a representative of the far superior powder skiing method I have developed (at least at that particular timestamp).

I'm not arguing I'm a better skier, I'm arguing that much much much better skiers than any of us talk about the important of ankle mobility in skiing. Its actually something I'm working on with my own technique as I spent years in boots too stiff for me and adjusted my stance accordingly. I've felt the effects firsthand and can recognize it in a lot of clips posted so far.

It's a really goofy hill to die on and I'm just trying to wrap my head around how someone can be so obtuse and defensive. Being open to criticism and change is the only way to improve IMO.

Anyway I'm going skiing. Someone please keep this rolling for me so I have something entertaining to read later.

I won't name names but there is a skiier on TGR who talks a HUGE game in various threads but if you look at his IG profile his skiing skillz are so weak and it kills me when I see him give gear advice to people.

I'm by no means a rock star but here is my latest underwhelming clip for all to see: https://www.instagram.com/p/Co-NqadIIXj/
It has been advised here before, and I stand by it, to never post videos of your own skiing unless it's blower powder or you want to be ridiculed.

Those are both unnecessary if you just pack your boots full of $37 worth of bacon.

Was hoping tomorrow would be the day, but looks like too much pow in Tahoe.

ey_allen, you still holding those too stiff boots? You could join in on the experiment - increase the, ahem, sample size, so to speak?

Ah, true. I will load up my pack with said bacon, then get on my airplane on a treadmill in order to fly to the goods, boots are aquasealed shut, but merely orange, nor red. Am I die?

Since you started the thread you must think it's about helping you, but you are mistaken. This is about how great everyone else is at skiing now.

I mean I have POV of charging but most of my 3rd person shots are stop and go.

    https://youtu.be/MHpPtGw-6FU?t=124

Also realize in the east we actually have shit under the snow to hit, and ice under the snow on most "powder" days.

People will see me on this pitch and think I am sloppy and not technically skilled with out realizing how fucking steep it is.

To all the haters how steep do you think this is? I have it fatmapped ill post once I get some guesses.

SoVT Joey, let see some video of you not doing those things you say I do. Also sorry but I am secure enough to wear an over hood when its -5 degrees outside at Jay, it is nice and cozy. The kids got somethings right.

You're making way too many turns to call that charging.

I am laughing my ass off at all of this. Keep it up boys!!

Also: Utah. You need to be testing your pow skis in Utah. Had another baller pow day today inbounds PC on the BlackOps 118. Not even a top five day for the season to be honest, this winter has been ridiculous here.

Didn’t get any footy from today… but you get the idea, a little repost. The BO 118 is still my favorite inbounds pow ski I’ve ever tried.

    Keep the petty arguments going!!!

I was not sure which way was uphill and which way was downhill until the skier came by…

Plus... you "charging " seems to be at about 30 km/hr. Come back when you know what fast is.

No I don't have a video to make my point... we both just know I'm right so that's good enough.
