Looking for old dead skis with which to build a fence

Building a fence, need old skis for pickets. If you have any you don't mind giving away let me know. Can pick up in Colorado front range, Summit County, Steamboat and Salt Lake City.

Thanks all. All donated skis entitle the donator to a beer on the deck when the weather is appropriate.

PM me once you're rolling through SLC. I should have a handful of skis available.

Good luck with your project. I made this fence about 15 years ago. Older metal Head skis were a bitch to drill as I recall.

You guys are awesome. I’ll hit up the SLC contingent in the next week or two. SLCDog I PMd ya - I’ll be through Golden soon I’m sure.

And Montrose in the summer probably.

This is great. And the fence photo is an inspiration for sure! Thanks all.

When you come through SLC, check with the Gear Room they occasionally have free skis in a shed for projects and such

If ski companies didn't make new skis every year I wouldn't have to get new skis every year.

Looking for old dead skis with which to build a fence

Bumping this. Making progress. Current collection in photo below. Haven’t been able to hit the SLC folks up yet but I’m going to try to do that soon. Anybody on the Front Range have any skis to donate to the ongoing fence project? I really appreciate the help from everyone. Trying to get to about three times this before install starts…

2” of snow reported middle of last week but should be fairly dry right now.
