That’s my takeaways from baseball this week.
    To sum up..
    Well put

Dodgers Braves NLCS should be the World Series unless the AL cheats again

The Yanks ran out Rizzo for 9 weeks batting him 3rd or 4th while he was the worst offensive player in MLB... with a concussion. Great franchise.

I have had a front row seat to Cashman being the worst exec in baseball, even with all that money. its mind blowing to watch.

    These Padres unis are hideous.

Mookie Betts is the best 2nd baseman in the NL.
    Read that again.

I spent most of the ceremony wondering what possessed me to get a helmet full of nachos like a ten year old, and wondering how I was going to eat them without spilling them all over my last clean shirt. But the actual Dodgers fans there seemed moved.

    I'll shoot you a PM.

The Yankees are 84-80 since the 2022 trade deadline and since then, players not named A Aron have hit /.

So all last season and hot stove when fans were begging for some offensive help, the FO was smarter than everyone because the pieces were already there.

Gonna be the first last place finish since the Andy Hawkins Steve Sax squad in 1990.
You realize that scrub is Ronald Acuna’s little brother?

Batting .338 with 25 homers and 51 stolen bases, if he’s anywhere near that good, he’ll be okay.

The kid and I took our annual baseball trip and decided to grab the train down to SD after LA. Dodgers Stadium will always have my heart but I’m not gonna lie, Petco Park is a damn nice venue to watch a game. It also helps when Joe Kelly calls Tatis a bitch and the good guys win.

It’s not an Orel bobblehead, but free is free.

Awesome! Petco is a great ballpark for sure. Glad you got to introduce a new generation to the beauty of Joe Kelly

    BRAWL IN CLEVELAND

ChiSox Tim Anderson blocked 2nd as José slid in for a double and stood over him. Then Anderson dropped his glove like a hockey player and threw a punch at José

Got ejected then came back onto the field to fight some more.

Tito ejected. Mike Sarbaugh went after Grifol for some shit.

Huge brawl. Fuck the White Sox.

Holy shit José is such a fucking badass. Smaller than Anderson, in a headlock, he still manages to connect on a right haymaker to Anderson’s face that sends him stunned to the ground on his ass. Anderson didn’t appear to land a single punch despite throwing down first.

Do yourself a favor and slow-mo scroll the video at the link about the :14 mark. Lol. That’s gonna be so worth the 3-5 games for this squad.

MLB social media has alerted me how much Tim Anderson is disliked around the League. José is well liked around the League.

This KO punch to the jaw may have elevated him to Champ-status in locker rooms everywhere.

The replays get better and better. Anderson was wobbling like he was drunk after taking that smoke.

PUT TOM HAMILTON IN THE BROADCASTERS WING NOW.

José’s post game presser recap: umps cautioned Anderson earlier in the game, said he wanted to fight Josey. Josey’s never been in a fight on the field or been ejected from a game. Q: “José, how do you think you did?” JR: “I think I landed a good one” lol.

Anderson is gonna be watching that KO on replay like McLovin for the rest of the year.

Haven’t seen a baseball player go down like that since Bautista. That’ll be on Anderson’s highlight reel for a while.

If it weren’t for tonight’s game I’d have totally forgotten about Anderson’s “Jackie” moment last year.

    ETA:

Josh Naylor continues to live rent free in the ChiSox’ heads.
