I think BTO was the first real band I saw perform live. Pretty sure I saw them on Parliament Hill for Canada Day when I was 6 or so.
Before that BTO were members of " the Guess who " which was also a big time sucessful band, b-b-baby

I'll tell you what, every song on this album is still a good tune

given the size and pop of Canada its a wonder these by's aren't working at a Canadian tire somewhere instead of being rock stars

Since some of us claim to be skiers, from Stompin Tom Connor to Burton Cumming singing " stand tall " a whole lot of Canadiana in this ski vid
it would make you cry if you were patriotic, which is of course un-canadain eh

cross posting threads here, was scrolling thru the nfl thread and just checked this one out based on title.
anyways, saw an nfl playoffs ad that showed former coach buffalo bills marv levy giving a speech on the field and i was thinking that has to be from years ago, marv was old when he coached the bills.
NO !
marvy levy is not dying ! he's 97 ! that ad was current ! way to go marv !
TGR forums cannot handle SkiCougar !
Robbie Bachman was too young to have played in "the guess who" in any case they were never "the guess whom"
Both who and whom are relative pronouns.[1] However, who is used as the subject of a sentence or clause, to denote who is doing something (like he or she).[2] On the other hand, whom is used as a direct or indirect object of a verb or preposition.
