I'm in a 29.5 ZGTP with a high volume intuion pro tour at the moment but they're getting a bit long in the tooth and I'd benefit from the lower volume fit of the Quattro so picked up a pair of 29.5s. I couldn't quite believe that there could be the same internal length despite the bsl being so short (324mm on the quattros vs 333 on the zgtps) but the bootfitter convinced me it was just due to the construction of the boot and I went with it. Got home and started having reservations so measured the internal length of my various boots and found that the inside of the Quattro is 8mm shorter than the inside of the ZGTPs - surprise surprise.
I've ordered some 30.5s to try as I can take the 29.5s back - hopefully they give my toes a bit more room for touring without loosing that sweet low volume fit but we'll see - seems like the super low volume performance fit thing is a bit of a trick if they're just selling you a pre down sized clog?
