    Mfree 99 vs Rocker2 100?

    Anyone ski both?

I know the rocker2 100 is not a tgr favorite but I love it. Damp and predictable.

Mine are still ok but are about 10 years old and I'm thinking of relishing them to rock ski duty and I'm considering the 99 to replace.

Seems similar in shape and rocker profile but maybe a little stiffer? Which I could live with.

    Any first hand input?

Bentchetler 100 might work... thanks for the suggestion.

BC100 are a lot of fun in soft snow but not that damp and have some of the worst edge grip of any modern ski

Do you already have a mid-fat? Have you tried the Mfree 108?

Big fan of the mfree99 as a "between storm" ski. Super playful, good in a variety of conditions, great in chop. Stable and damp too.

I sure loved mine! It could be pushed amazingly hard, and was very reliable. And really fun on top of all that.
I haven't stumbled across anything I thought was similar since.

(I'm happy with what I'm on now, but they were a lot of fun when I skied them.)
I'd agree with something in the 100-110 range.
Volkl One? - though way too wide?
    I'm no help.

Just thought I'd agree on the love for the R2's.

I’ve owned the Rockr2 100, I haven’t skied the MFree 99 but the 108. Similar feel, you can push the MFree 108 harder.

Have not tried the mfree 108... I have the 108 spot filled with katana 108.

I also picked up some pr-otos (aka mfree 118) but haven't skied them yet.

That makes sense... thanks. I don't NEED to push this ski harder, but probably would appreciate that I can.

I also want something not super demanding that I can mostly play around on ... but having the option to open things up sounds good too.
