^^^ Nice work cat! I always hope that the snow levels will equal (or better!) the large pile of work put in.

See you this weekend for the Summer Mag get together? Will be nice to celebrate our Jillions win together!

Fridge currently doesn't have a kegerator setup. Perhaps you could poke a hole in it? You need to relax so I'll drop off a melon at the same time.
ps; nice that the laundry is accessible, great place for the tuning bench.

I have a spare kegerator (no surprise to those that know me IRL). I could donate in exchange for the entry code. Not to the laundry room....

I am camping in the daks this weekend with a toddler. Is the High Peaks Gorge worth the price of admission or is it lame? I'll have a kids hiking backpack but the chance of our group getting up Marcy is pretty slim, if anyone has any other ideas.

Abusable chasm is a wonder, a bit further out.

Go to split Rock falls for awesome clear water and beautiful bikini scenery.

See if the wooden nickel is open and drink 30 Busch lites there..

John brown farm is a cool mellow walk around.

Drive up whiteface if not a million other ppl there.

The Olympic museum has been redone prob worth a look. As is the new complex at van ho.

Find Ron Kon and tell him what an amazing skier he is.

is split rock falls a far hike? doesnt sound like it.... probably going to be pretty busy because it's been so shitty lately and the weather looks kind of good.

Abusable is something to behold. High falls gorge is cool, can also skip the tourist entry, park at the state campground and hike down from there

Split Rock is roadside. But a drive . In new Russia

    +1 as well on Ausable.

Be forewarned, there’s a lacrosse tournament in LP this weekend. Town will be extra-crowded with a lot of lacrosse bros.

    yep, still essentially statewide?
good luck all in VT and hope it's like so many of the 'big snows' that fizzle.

wondering if the fires are creating their own high pressure system.
california's fires created hellish tornadoes a few summers back.

A few spots of rain until 4:45pm yesterday then the sky opened up with an impressive downpour resulting in another 1 15/16" of rain bob. Cool and breezy at 61º currently.

Appears to have been an F3 tornado in western NY with Snow Ridge taking heavy damage, good possibility they won't open from the sounds of it as repairs could be overwhelming.

    ef-3-tornado-confirmed-lewis-county/

Convergent track damage again resumed well southwest of the town of Turin, hitting the town water tower. It then continued

northward as it paralleled West Road. Continuous uprooting, snapping, and occasional defoliation of hard and softwood trees was evident for a long portion of the track until it reached Snow Ridge Ski Resort.

Upon reaching Snow Ridge Ski Resort, tree damage increased to the snapping of hardwood trees at the root line and some defoliation. On the ski resort land, all of the chair lift metal cables failed, some chair lift structures were overturned or damaged, and the track of damage greatly widened as the storm continued north-northeastward.

The greatest damage of the entire track was from Snow Ridge Ski Resort to the West Wind Motel in Turin. Several structures saw completed roof failures, interior wall failures, window failures, and a one multi-story building was shifted from its foundation with its entire roof removed.

ps; the smoke is back for the day
