legend in my own mind
^How long have you been skiing those things? Wow.
i must have over 150 days on 'em.
splat figured about 155 days were on them when i got them.
they still ski great, and the workmanship speaks for itself
free refills on george today (guessing). 60mph winds and 20 degrees / snow.

Sugarloaf was very good. I didn’t shoot any still documentation (see above) I love the ‘loaf, but it’s kind of remote from most places

Yeah buddy. Another quality season far from over. K spring pass delivers.
yea, squeezing a few more days out of season, day 9 on pass so far.
and now willing to suit up for the elements after settling into more beachy attire 6 weeks ago.
hope you're having a good off-season so far.

Wonder if this was the upper section that they just paved last summer? Not sure they're going to be able to repair all that in a couple weeks especially if the weather continues the way it has been.
That'll buff right out.
I have to be in the area anyway so thinking of doing a hike up the TRT tomorrow morning. Should I bother bringing my skis? I can't tell if the Ravine is getting rain or snow but seems like it will either be a bunch of undermined, or new snow with some avy risk.

NOAA is saying mixed precip. at 3500' (a little below the base of the bowl) and snow at 5000' (top of headwall) with temps. in the 20's tonight and 30's tomorrow. If I had to guess I'd say it's gunna be pretty sloppy in there with a lot of undermined snow, could definitely be some wet slides in that regard.
could be dangerous trying to get high up on the wall but even if you just hike up a little and make like 3+ turns I think you can add it to your day count so might be worth bringin' the twigs just in case.
my head is perpetually in the clouds
Agree with Boosh. Unless the sherb is totally out, worst case scenario you hike up to the bowl, scope conditions, and if it sucks you still get some turns on the sherb. I was there this past saturday and coverage was generally pretty good down low aside from like two ~25 foot sections. if things are stable, hillmans had great coverage and was an easy walk & ski over after hiking up left gully.
Unless the cloud ceiling is higher than here, Top-O-Steins, you won't see anything. And I personally wouldn't ski tux in low/no vis conditions. YMMV
We lost an east coast skier in Brooklyn the other day. Be safe out there.
