For some bizarre cosmic reason I wound up living in New Jersey for 20 years (originally from Northern New Hampshire). Once you learn to accept the fucking sheer amount of people in such a small space it is actually a pretty friendly place.

they dump a ton of snowmaking on the terrain park run.. can be super fun to carve ...and safety sessions on that tall backside lift in the dark is quite the experience

Who wouldn't do this? Like, they're new, you want to make sure they're feeling good, bindings working, etc:
a) on a day when conditions are shit and you DGAF
b) on a big powder day
