And now for something completely different... I haven't posted in a while nor have I even visted TGR to see whats happening. What better way to come back than with some pics of what a dedicated Ski hill can do to help kids achieve their goals. Not as rad as pre-season pow pow shots or some awesome 3 inch of wet slop grass skiing but I figured some snow-starved weirdos would get a kick out of this. I know I did! Of course its snowing hard at home.
Amazing snow farm efforts from this resort to allow us to have a top to bottom mogul run and a good-sized lane for our Alpine friends.
The vibe is fun and it's nice to see happy smiling kids getting after what they love

The massive tarps cover last years snow in a giant pile, then get covered in wood chips. I was told they only lose around 20 percent of the snow over the summer. Why can't we do this in Canada? Good question.


It's a great start for the areas around where I live and it always snows when I travel so if you ski the Canadian Rockies, you're welcome!
