Tgapp today hiking in a really fun wind gust, trying to prevent his shouldered skis from blowing off the backside and into ZZZ's or NBABUCKS backyards.

Thigh deep pow runs with a whipped windskin on top- tiring but fun as always.

Felt the temps at snowbird, saw the winds up high. I'm supposing anything not north is fucked? At bird, tomorrow and Sunday. Blue jacket, maroon pants on some sort of rental enforcer. Likely staying away from team since we got fast pass, but happy to join for laps. Peace

Dressed for 30+ and sunny, got to the top of Toledo and the winds picked up. Skiing was mediocre at best. Was cold. Good workout. No instabilities noted

Nice pics benneke, looks dreamy up skiing that at sunset. Do you worry about how you would get rescued if things go bad as it turns dark?

Had to scramble up the backside of this mini ramp to access it, luckily there was some big handholds in rocks. Great day for airs, the landings were as good as it gets. This one had a bonus second air shaped like a pyramid down there...some real feel-good skiing. Way too warm though even at 10:30am, things were getting saturated.

Muted I would be more worried about skiing side country madness. Benneke knows who is in the drainage, and it looks like Benneke can ski Fall Line. Your Disneyland Sh!T show doesn't know what fall line is.

Like anyone I have my own worries and unnecessary risks skiing, yes. But I politely asked him question.

    +1

My wife and kids saw patrol working on the hill. The patient was on/near Aggies Alley. Nothing significant to hit there so maybe a cardiac? My kids were our “patients” for OEC class and said they were giving oxygen thru a bag valve mask. Impressed with patrols safing off the area near collins base for the pickup. We were loading on collins when the heli landed.

Nice skiing at Alta today with Ballroom and East Greely opening.

Holy shizel though on the traffic up. What a shit show - our first visit this year but get at least a week in each year up in LCC. Yes I am out of towner but pity the locals. In the past we could leave the hotel at 7:30 and be into the canyon mouth in 20 minutes. When Alta changed the parking lot opening time, it seemed to help. No longer. Today it was an hour just to get into canyon. At 9 am snowbird looked full plus but then Collins lot was 30% at best. Interesting.
