That old lift has the best fall lines on the hill. It also used to be my favorite deschutes brew back in its original form!

It kept getting better the deeper in the afternoon/evening today at MHM.
    Pondering a try tomorrow AM.

Opensnow and Temira seem to think it's going to stay cold enough to be decent snow - if somewhat heavy tomorrow.
[Looks like the best day left of the week before the weather goes south...]

Today did not suck. The 4” overnight fell between like 0400 and 0800, and left a nice layer of west slope density pow to play in.
No rime to speak of either
Viz=CSS until about 0930 then was reasonably good.

Stockli Stormriders FTMFW today - just stay in the front seat

West side NW ridges could be bony in spots. Ride safe.

Thanks. I am skiing with a buddy who is solid intermediate. But would love to peel off to explore. Orange and red marmot jacket. Green pants. QST 99 skis. Ask for change.

With any luck, they will spin Summit chair today, and you will have won the Bachelor lottery.

But then you will have to repent with 7,000 ft freezing levels and rain Thursday into Friday. Go hard today and tomorrow.

Congrats. Nothing like a slow morning breakfast by the fire with your better half. Or in some cases your better 2/3rds!

Dude, I told you the green suit would mess you up when the wind gusted!

But yeah Toadman, the cloud deck was low and the wind was up. In the brief moment you could see some of the top, it was whipping off W Ridge.

Kind of a notsogreat surprise to make up for yesterday

Pretty much a windy whiteout above 7000’
Damn near got blown off Pine and Sky chairs. Retreated to Rainbow
The blizzard that started about 1100 brought soft refills
Just in time for an ice storm

My daughter’s best friend is featured in this new video from Factotum. She’s featured along with some other Oregon riders:
