    Parkour.

I think the real question is which of these fad sports are here to stay. I still think pickle ball is the new jai alai, but it's much more approachable and gaining traction as people age out of tennis. Tom Brady and LeBron James both own pro teams now.

And I hate to say it, e-sports (basement dwellers getting paid to play video games) isn't going anywhere. There's a stupid amount of money in it.

Pickleball has a incredibly strong following in the over 55 crowd.

Stand up paddleboarding is such a joke though. Everyone I see doing it has the exact same look, "is this all it is?"

Surf skates. They were super on trend last summer. Feel the wave has crested. Still see a lot of kooks ripping around with their front trucks on backwards though (lol jk). It’s not so bad, just annoying when we have a good bowl sesh going and someone with a carver butt slides in and starts to do steezy shoulder movements.

There was like one gym here that still had courts. I used to play weekly, then I got introduced to pickleball......haven't played racquetball in over a year.

I feel irrationally angry about axe throwing places, they just look so stupid.
Bring back darts FFS, now that's a great drinking game.

Seattle people love thier fad games- that trampoline bouncy ball thing (spikeball) is big, and there is some throw wooden blocks at other wooden blocks one.
It is a fun game. Surprised at the demise. Loud and somewhat dangerous was my biggest complaint. It’s less physically demanding than pickle ball in singles. I think it comes back.

Old boomer pickle ball is silly. The quick movement on hard court will cause as many injuries as tennis.

One advantage to pb is no need for new balls and fresh strings all the time. Much much cheaper. Tennis is basically $5 in equipment every time you play.

    Bouldering

I personally think it is a great recreational sport - but not sure all the new gyms will be here in 10 years.

Pebble wrestling has always been dumb. Great way to stay in shape and fun to do, but when people start competing at it, that's where you lose me.
