Epic trip! In absolute awe. Former rider (until I had a bunch of crotch goblins) and did a lot of motorcycle camping trips I can only begin to understand what that kind of mileage feels like.

Yeah, I definitely rode myself into shape on the trip. I could do probably double the daily mileage at the end that I could do at the beginning.

My first day was 431 miles, and was the longest I’d ever ridden on a bike before, and coming home I did two 800+ mile days in four days and felt pretty good

Wrigley before lights was epic. Still is. Fenway has a better vibe these days.
And komiskey. Wtf. They tore down the oldest stadium to make a sanitized experience. I chuckled at the mall references so many parks have been ruined.

This is just epic. Beyond words, thanks for bringing us along. Catches ball in first park - but then catches second ball with brandy old fashioned in other hand - there must be video of this out there somewhere!

I definitely need to do more with writing, all the video content, and staying on schedule. Unfortunately (well, fortunately) I came home to a fairly big work project, so this strictly personal work has to take a back seat for the time being. I also need to sit and process the trip in a way I have more to say about it than just the blow by blow I posted here.
