Length? Current mount BSL? Your in Summit eh? Buddy up there is looking for something like this to replace his beat to hell Helios.
Guessing my buddy wants one size down but will pass along.
Great deal.
Interested.
How does these do in weird snow and crusts? Any hookiness with the relatively short radius?
I was always impressed in how the ski handled in variable conditions. For something that is so light it doesn't necessarily ski like it. I never thought the short radius felt very short and never felt it hook, and I usually ski longer skis (my daily driver is a 190cm declivity 108ti) I will say it skied a bit better when it had tecton 12's vs the tracer tour binding, but that was more just the full weight of the ski as opposed to how the ski would handle itself.
I've got this ski mounted up to a Tecton and have been very impressed with how well the ski not only walks but skis as well. Have not found it overly hooky like the SD104. For stability its not quite as stable at speed as a Hoji or Raven (187 & 184), but its a little easier to get sideways while in the air, and can manage in wider ranges of terrain to those skis.
Biggest takeaway is how much energy it has: tons of pop in the tails for playing on every feature you see, or returning a bunch of energy out of your turn. Generally speaking this is the ski I recommend to my freestyle oriented friends when they're looking for a touring ski.

Can anyone compare these to the 2015-19 Sir Francis Bacons? I ask because I’ve skied those a fair amount and they were a lot of fun
Lot of interest but still available
How TF are these still available?
