NHL 2022-2023 Season

I looked at getting tickets last month when I was in town. Cheapest I could see was $180 before fees. I'd like to check out a game but not at those prices...

Vegas tickets are pretty reasonable for the nosebleeds. My kid has taken me to a couple of games when I was in town, but sitting up at speaker level, having to listen to all the noise they spew during dead time is annoying. If I go again I might buy the tickets and get better seats. Makes me nostalgic for the organ at Olympia.

Regular season Canes tickets start at $30. Parking is $20-$30.. add in fees and a couple Pepsis and you're in at $100 for a regular season game here. Season Ticket Holders can get buddy tickets lower level for like $75 each.. Scout night has similar deals. I toyed with the idea of staying on the marketing list for our troop after we aged out as they never checked to confirm, but "a scout is honest".

speaking of Mr. Hockey--Oshie had a Howe hat trick today. And another goal for good meassure. The fight after he put Lindgren out of the game with a marginal but apparently legal hit. He was miked and it caught him asking Lindgren if he was okay and apologizing for the hit.

As much as I hate Boston, that is a great thing for any hockey lover.

^^^ agreed all of it^^^ And I haven't always hated Boston.. when I was a little kid Bobby Orr was my favorite player. It was Tim Thomas letting his white hood show and refusing to go to the Obama White House visit after they won the cup that soured me on the Bruins. Wasn't thrilled about De Angelo coming to Carolina either.. but he managed to keep his mouth shut while he was here thankfully..

As a long time Blackhawks fan yesterday was a pretty grim day seeing Kane leave. The only silver lining is it will be fun to see him line up with Panarin again.
